Downtown Franklin is a mecca for seasonal events and festivals throughout the year. To meet the amplified mobility needs of the general public during these times, the Franklin Transit Authority in partnership with the City of Franklin and the Downtown Franklin Association, offers increased service on a pre-determined limited basis at established fares to the general public.

Franklin Art Scene

A monthly art crawl, held on the first Friday of each month, that take participants through downtown Franklin’s historic buildings, and celebrates Williamson County’s unique artistic talent!

Main Street Festival

The spring celebration, held in April, is one of the largest events in the state of Tennessee, drawing crowds of about 120,000 for a fun-filled two-day celebration, music, arts and crafts, food, and children’s activities. Franklin Transit service is available with pick-up stops at Harlinsdale Farm (239 Franklin Road) and Church of the City (828 Murfreesboro Road); public transit fare is $1 each way.

Dickens of a Christmas

The annual free street festival held in December that recreates the time of Charles Dickens in historic downtown Franklin. The largest Christmas festival in Middle Tennessee, brings thousands from far and wide to the city for a memorable holiday event-filled weekend. Franklin Transit service is available with pick-up stops at Harlinsdale Farm (239 Franklin Road) and Church of the City (828 Murfreesboro Road); public transit fare is $1 each way.

PumpkinFest

Held the last weekend of October, the family fall festival is the largest in Middle Tennessee with a crowd of 65,000 in attendance filled with tons of festive family fun.
