ADA Services

  • Franklin Transit is willing to make reasonable modifications for those with disabilities. Please call 615-628-0260 to request.
  • All Franklin Transit vehicles are ADA accessible.
  • Complimentary ADA para-transit services is available within ¾ mile of our fixed route services

    • The Franklin Transit allows for persons with disabilities, and persons with a Medicare card to pay one half the fare during all services times.
    • Reservations are required to be made the previous service day (615.628-0260).
  • The Franklin Transit system offers Flexible Deviation pickup/drop off service on the fixed routes for ADA and Medicare customers within ¾ miles of the published fixed route.
    • Reservations are required to be made the previous service day (615.628-0260).
    • Maximum of two deviations per hour per route.
    • The fare of a flexible deviation trip is fifty cents (.50) ADA, Medicare charge plus additional fifty cents (.50) for the reserved pickup, for a total fare of one dollar ($1.00)

Senior Services

  • The Franklin Transit Authority allows for Senior Citizens (65+) to pay one half the fare during all services times.
    • The Franklin Transit system offers Flexible Deviation pickup/drop off service on the fixed routes for Senior Citizen customers within ¾ miles of the published fixed route.
    • Maximum of two deviations per hour per route.
    • Reservations are required 24 hours in advance (615.628-0260).
    • The fare of a flexible deviation trip is fifty cents (.50) Senior Citizen charge plus additional fifty cents (.50) for the reserved pickup, for a total fare of one dollar ($1.00)
