Join Air Care hosts Williamson County Mayor, Rogers Anderson, and Debbie Henry, and Clean Air Spokesperson, Taylor Ware, on Williamson County Ch. 3 on Wed., at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. & 6 p.m.

Air Care is a family oriented half-hour educational television series. Guests discuss environmental issues that affect everyone living in Williamson County and middle Tennessee. Transportation, Environmental and Healthcare professionals offer viewers suggestions on ways to help eliminate traffic congestion, reduce air pollution, and protect their health from pollution along with tips on how to save money on transportation costs and utility expenses.

Ozone season's affect on Asthma patients, Franklin transportation update, and environmental-friendly products are featured on this month's Air Care program.

Tom Lawrence, WAKM AM950, is guest co-host for this month's Air Care program which is broadcast each Wednesday at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Williamson County Comcast CH3 as well as on the internet at: www.tmagroup.org.

Topics include:

Jim Hunter II, Chairman of the Board of Directors, American Lung Association of the Midland States, discusses health problems that are triggered by air pollution, especially asthma which causes nearly 5,000 American deaths each year.

Alderman Ken Moore discusses Franklin's recently completed and upcoming traffic improvements.

Puffy Stuff, a biodegradable packing peanut product that's manufactured in Nashville is demonstrated.

M & A Supply representatives discuss American Standards' AccuClean whole house air filtration systems.

Air Care, in its fourth year of production, is a family-oriented, half-hour, television series addressing transportation, pollution and environmental issues. The program is co-hosted by Williamson County Mayor, Rogers Anderson, and Debbie Henry, Executive Director of The TMA Group, Franklin, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit .

In August 2007 the U.S. Transportation Department/Federal Highway Administration endorsed and applauded the work and content of the show.
Air Care is now publicized on their "It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air" exchange.
